During the course of any day or week at the Ulman Cancer Fund we have some crazy, off the beaten path, fun, sometimes a little too wild ideas come through. Whether it’s about Team Fight, the overall organization, or a new project someone wants to take to benefit us, we are pretty much all ears.
Today for example, we had a Team Fight member, named Mike, who had an idea to increase Team Fight awareness in Baltimore and hopefully recruit some new participants along the way. What was his idea you may wonder?…
To dress in Team Fight gear, buy tickets to the usual empty upper deck of the O’s game (for you non-Marylanders, that’s the Baltimore Orioles), sit together, and do stair repeats between innings. At some point, the cameras would probably catch wind of a bunch of people in bright yellow shirts doing this and put us on the jumbotron. Hence awareness, creativity, and sparking some curiosity along the way. While at first Kyle and I thought it was a little over the top, we loved it!
So I ask you, what’s your most out of the box, crazy, over the top, get noticed idea that we could possibly use to get some new participants for 2011???
